The Occupational English Test (OET) is an English language test for healthcare professionals recognised by various regulatory healthcare bodies, and this test provides you with the right level of English to study or work in the healthcare sector. OET is used in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and Dubai, among others, to assess the medical English skills of medical professionals, and it is developed to cover 12 different healthcare professionals including nurses, doctors, dentists, optometrists, dieticians, occupational therapists, pharmacists, physiotherapists, podiatrists, radiographers, speech pathologists, and veterinarians. OET results are recognised as evidence of English language proficiency in several parts of the world.

Healthcare professionals require a Grade B in the OET to work in the UK that is 390 in the OET numerical score and Grade B is an advanced level of English, equivalent to IELTS band 7 and C1 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
